How We Buy Used

like an elliptical machine, we can help you trade your quality used fitness
equipment in for something new, used or for cash. Instead of getting pennies
on the dollar at a garage sale, simply bring your used sports and fitness gear
in to our store and start cashing in today.

It is our responsibility to make sure the latest and greatest sports and fitness gear is
available at great prices, so please be mindful of this when bringing in your items to sell.
To get started we suggest the following:
- Call us to find out the most wanted or the most asked for items.
- Check out our most wanted brands.
- Make sure your items are clean, in good condition and include all necessary parts before bringing them to us for resale.
When you bring your new and used sporting goods into Play it Again Sports, we determine two things right away. First, can we sell your items in the store and if so, what would we sell it for. Once we determine the retail value of your equipment you are presented with three options:
1.) Buy-- If you elect to have us pay you for your sporting goods on the spot, you receive a check for 40% of what we sell your items for. No strings attached; you walk out the door that day with money in your pocket.
2.) Trade-- If you determine you would like to be paid for your equipment with trade credit, you will be given 50% of what we sell your items for. The store credit could be used that day to purchase items in the store, or at a later date.
3.) Consign-- This option earns you the highest percentage for your items, but it also requires that you wait for the items to be sold before you get your check. Typically items on consignment are the higher end items (i.e. golf clubs, treadmills, weight benches, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, etc). Ten days after your item sells, you receive a check for 60% of the selling price.
